The sessions:
10am-11am
Issues in Faculty Development Planning: the objective of the session
is to discuss the main activities of a faculty member, viz.,
curriculum and pedagogy; research; collaboration in research and
teaching and administrative support; and ways to provide skills to
accomplish each activity.
11am-12 noon
Issues in Institutional Governance: the objective of the session is to
discuss two alternative approaches to institutional governance, the
managerial model and the faculty-driven model, their advantages and
disadvantages, and implementation strategies.
12noon-1pm
Issues in Technology Development: the objective of the session is to
discuss the key areas where technological interventions may be used,
i.e., distance education, student life-cycle management, learning
management, ERP, compliance & accreditation, and faculty development. |
