| Details: | In this final talk, we shall explore the stability question of the cut locus, which has gained some interest in recent years from different perspectives. We shall show that the cut locus of a point remains Hausdorff close if one perturbs the point (and even the metric). The proof uses some facts about the viscosity solutions of the eikonal equation. This is a joint work with S. Prasad and J. Itoh. We will conclude with some open questions in the area. |
