| Details: | Active particles have emerged as paradigmatic examples of systems driven far from equilibrium. Due to their persistence they show non-trivial stationary structures like boundary accumulation, clustering and jamming. These structures disappear for smaller persistence/activity. I will discuss that these structural crossovers are associated with a calorimetric signature by looking at a 'nonequilibrium heat capacity'. |
