We will discuss the new Physics contributions to the Top quark decay and production in various channels, which can be well described with the help of Effective Field Theory approach. The effect of such Physics beyond the standard model in Top-quark Physics can be observed in LHC, which is a Top-quark factory. We will discuss about all possible dimension six operators, which will contribute to such processes. Using Effective Field Theory, one can find the presence of Anomalous Top quark couplings through the process of Top Decay, Pair Production and single Top production.
As top quarks are mainly produced at the LHC in ttbar production via gluon fusion, we will see how the presence of new Physics can be felt in the decay of top quark through various channels.
