| Details: | We consider the KdV equation used for modeling, e.g., water waves in a narrow channel. The time evolution is described by a quadratic (Burgers') plus a linear (Airy) term. In this talk, we present a higher-order scheme for the Cauchy problem associated with the KdV equation. This scheme has higher order accuracy in space and second order accuracy in time. Our aim is to show the convergence with less regular initial data. |
