| Details: | Within the last few years, lattices of evanescently coupled optical waveguides have proven to be a versatile platform for investigating a variety of quantum effects. An interesting aspect of these structures is that various interactions can be controlled by design. Another salient feature is the possibility of controlling the exact initial conditions for the light propagating inside the array. Moreover, the decoherence rate in these structures is very low, even for longer propagation distances. In this talk, we present a summary of some of our studies on optical waveguide arrays. |
