| Details: | Different proteins evolve at different rates. Why evolutionary rates of different proteins vary significantly among them is one of the important questions in evolutionary bioinformatics. Availability of genomic and functional data on various organisms made it possible to answer this question partially. Here, in this talk, I will discuss some of the important theories and also their short falls on the causes of protein evolutionary rate heterogeneities among different proteins. |
