In this talk, we will begin by giving an overview of late time cosmology and modelling
of dark energy, in the context of late-time cosmic acceleration. Constraints on different
cosmological parameters, obtained from recent cosmological observations, will be
presented. The issue of degeneracy in dark energy models and the issue of model
dependency of the constraints on various cosmological parameters will be discussed.
Kinematic approach to the reconstruction of dark energy models is one possible way to
break the degeneracy. A reconstruction of interacting dark energy model with a slowly
varying jerk parameter will be discussed in this context. Then different dark energy
diagnostics, namely the Om-diagnostic and the Statefinder, will be presented, along with
an attempt to constrain the dark energy diagnostics in a model independent way. Finally
the future prospects of dark energy research using recent and upcoming radioastronomical
surveys will be discussed in brief. |
