| Details: | Statistical Shape analysis lies at the intersection of geometry and statistics and has found applications in medical imaging, computer vision and computational anatomy. The current talk will briefly introduce Kendall Shape Space, a particular manifold used in shape analysis along with algorithms on computing the intrinsic mean and finding principal modes of variation on this manifold. Some examples from medical imaging will be presented. |
