| Details: | In the first half of my talk, I shall discuss the state of the art silicon photonics technology including manufacturing opportunities for functional photonic integrated circuit (PIC) designs. In the second half, the prospects and challenges for the room temperature implementation of chip-scale quantum photonic processors will be discussed. This will include some highlights on recent research findings at the Silicon Photonics CoE-CPPICS, IIT Madras. |
